A full day of sightseeing, to the
Cairns Highlands with
Food Trail Tours is a day away from the crowds, exploring local food, wine, farms and producers of North Queensland. With
tropical fruit wineries, macadamia and
coffee plantations, and
cheeses there is something for everyone.
You will experience
interactive farm tours, meet locals and taste different local foods at every stop. Visiting, small family farms and mingling
with the owners and family members who work the business, provides a wonderful change of pace, and
amazing insights into Australian life.
Sightseeing includes dry topical savannah, and wet tropics rainforest. Stops include Lake Barrine, 1000 year old Kauri pines and a 500 year old Cathedral Fig.
