Description of Activity/Tour

Jasper's Tours operate small group tours, minimum 2 - maximum 4 persons and is suited to couples. We specialize in farm (ranch) tours but you don't have to be a farmer (rancher) to enjoy the tours. We visit sheep, dairy, deer and cropping farms. we see sheep being shorn, cows going through a milk parlour, crops being harvested depending on time of year. We also travel through the majestic landscape of the South Island, rich farmland to lakes and through to towering mountains, and all that happens on your first day of travel.

On a typical day your driver will start your journey at 8-30am and take you through some stunning countryside stopping off at all the places of interest and introducing you to local people such as farmers, artists and business owners. Highlights maybe getting a photo taken of your foot beside a now extinct Moa (bird) foot. Or maybe a photo of you shearing a sheep, bungy jumping, sky diving or just having a quiet coffee at one of the many cafe's.

Sleeping and meals

Accommodation on the tours range from motels, farmstay and farm tour and hotels. Tours are based on B&B with some evening meals included.
Light snacks and hot drinks are available while touring.

Restrictions

Jasper's Tours have a no smoking in the vehicle policy. Regular stops will ensure smokers don't miss out.
