The Grand Hotel Bernardin is the first and largest convention centre in Slovenia. This high quality hotel providing remarkable tourist services is located in a quiet and natural environment directly overlooking the sea.

Recreation

The hotel comprises of heated indoor swimming pool, finnish saunas, whirlpool, fitness and massage, and private beach and six flood lit tennis courts. At the Bernardin water park there is a swimming pool (20x10m, 1.8 m deep), a round recreational pool (diameter 10 m) with massage beds, and five whirlpools. The eastern part of the water park is intended for more dynamic water activities. It is ideal for families with children and for people who like water games. There are two pools suitable for children with slides, flumes and geysers. Next to the childrens pools, there is a swimming pool (25x7.5 m, 1.8 m deep) with resting bays and different water attractions: water roundabouts, water cannons and massage jets.

Services

Facilities and services within the hotel include a gift shop, hair dresser, guarded car park and shuttle service. There is also a convention centre with 16 flexibly constructed rooms enable different room settings and total capacity of 2,600 persons, state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, simultaneous translation facilities, secretarial office. New, from end of May 2008, wellness centre Paradise Spa in Grand Hotel Bernardin.
