Many restaurants are nearby for excellent dinners. This resort offers a swimming pool, tennis court, and restaurant, open for breakfast and lunch. Beer and wine are also available during meals. Rental car service and an activity desk allow fun outings, such as beach picnics, shark and stingray feeding, snorkeling, sunset cruises, and photo safaris into the interior of the island. A rental car is recommended; special prices for club guests are available. The units are very basic. The hotel has no radios, TVs, microwaves, or dishwashers. The resort is multi level and there are no elevators. Only Bay units have air conditioning. The heart of Cooks Bay perfectly captures French Polynesia. Wisps of clouds flow down from the peaks of the volcanic mountains as the sun lights up the pineapple plantations and the stunning foliage. Mt. Bali Hai thrusts up dramatically in the distance. There is a 225 USD electricity surcharge per unit per week. This fee is paid upon check-in with a major credit card. This surcharge is subject to change. There is also a city tax of 1.70 USD per person per day. The rainy season is December through March. For access to electricity at the resort, one will need to take a 220 converter for ones personal appliances.
