The Relais La Torre is located in the ancient complex of Longobard origin ïÿýïÿýïÿýXII centuryïÿýïÿýïÿý along the Roman Via Ariminensis, a road of great military importance, which connected the town of Arezzo with Rimini, and it is just four miles from Arezzo, nine miles from the A1 Motorway Exit, and roughly 44 miles from both Florence and Siena.
Dipped in the wide estate amongst vineyards, olive-groves, and woods, the Relais is part of the fortified complex La Torre, with the various constructions composed around a fulcrum of a paved internal space, connecting the main residence with the farm annexes, hosting the suites and the chapel which in the actual structure dates back to 1756. The structure comprises five suites, a reception area, and a shop selling home-farm produce and hand crafted items. The stay includes bed and breakfast, the latter rigorously on the basis of conserves made from the fruit of the farm, traditionally rustic homemade pastries, fresh bread, extra virgin olive oil, daily fresh eggs, and seasonal vegetables. The hotel offers breakfast, room service, parking, business center, and high speed Internet access.
The rooms, Greppia, Ziraia, Limonaia, La Torre E L Aia, with independent access, are of Spartan nature comprising of a bedroom with wrought iron bed, living room with sofa bed, and a bathroom with traditional shower.
