Languishing on the sands of the spectacular Platy Gialos beach, is the four star Kosmoplaz Hotel, a mere stones throw from the crystal clear waters of the blue Aegean. Platy Gialos is at the end of a road with no through traffic and is in effect a small hamlet with boutique-sized hotels and a couple of tavernas and bars fronting the beach. Sea-view rooms have panoramic views of the beach with south-facing verandas, from where you can while away the evening with a cool glass of wine. The hotel has an open-air restaurant overlooking the beach a bar, swimming-pool with Jaccuzi, sauna, fitness gym and internet corner. All rooms are air-conditioned and have en-suite bathrooms with either sea or pool views. Water-sports are available on the beach as are local taxi-boats that run services to nearby beaches. Buses also run frequently into Mykonos town.
