The social hub of the resort is the Main Lodge, a colonial style building dating from the 1950's. Here you will find the Library and the magnificent, hammock hung Verandah. AURIGA II, our Pro 42' jet boat. the premier dive boat in the area. offers the most comfortable ride to the many dive and snorkel sites. Of great interest is the very recent establishment of the Gladden Spit/Silk Caye area as a Marine Reserve. It is here, during April, May and June, that the WHALESHARK may be observed.one of the few places in the world that it is possible to see this magnificent creature. Rum Point Inn can offer full SCUBA and snorkel training. The Placencia area is considered one of the prime fishing areas of Belize and offers Flyfishing with expert guides for Bonefish, Tarpon, and Permit. There is also spin casting and trolling for many species including Jack, Snapper and Baracuda.
