Stella Maris - "Star of the Sea" - Relax in our elegantly casual Resort Club. Very nice and Luxurious accommodations are attractively scattered throughout a magnificent palm grove, overlooking the Atlantic. You will be very comfortable in our air-conditioned rooms, all with fridge, coffee maker, ceiling fan and hair dryer and ocean view patio or balcony. Our villas and bungalows are nothing short of superb, some indeed luxurious. and some with private pool. Three hotel pools dot our manicured grounds, as do seven hidden Atlantic beach coves, nestled into a splendid panorama of tropical foliage and dramatic shorelines. Bikes can get you to any point of interest in Stella Maris, and our excursions and rental cars give you the entire island. Daily programs offer superb from-shore snorkeling and island sightseeing. Some 35 quaint villages and prosperous farming towns house some 3500 inhabitants, the island's main industries being farming and fishing.
