Surrounding Area

We are located in French Hill, a northern neighborhood of Jerusalem, about 20 minutes by bus to downtown and 10 minutes by cab to the Old City. We are a short walk from the Mount Scopus campus of Hebrew University. We have plenty of parking and are reached by bus lines 4 and 28.

Accommodations

The Bed & Breakfast is on the top, 8th floor, of the building. Elevator of course. If you get up at six a.m., the Dead Sea can be seen out the living room window.

Rooms/Suites

Room: Two twin beds – one perfect, one hard. TV with cable. Closet space and a dresser.
Private bathroom: One of the world's smallest. With basin, toilet and shower. Complimentary shampoo and shower gel.

Amenities

The bus stop to most places is about a minute and half walk from the front door of the building. You walk past a row of shops that includes two coffee shops, a pizza place and a great little home-cooking fast-food place called Ta'amei Ziona. The last one is highly recommended. The bus stop is next to a supermarket.

Breakfast: Fresh rolls, yellow cheese, soft white cheese, fresh basil and sliced tomatoes, fruit yogurt and plain sheep's yogurt, a bowl of fruit or juice and free-range eggs. Menu upgrades if you're lucky and Sasha bakes.
Afternoon tea: At the end of a day of walking, it is especially nice to have a cup of tea or coffee and a little something. Candy or cookies or ice cream. We know. We provide.
Phone use: For local calls only. Guests are asked to throw a shekel into the money pot in the kitchen window per call.
There's a sewing box in the bedroom, iron and ironing board available.
