Benaojan, which has escaped development, is set into the mountainside, all shops and services are available, but in 5 minutes one is in an impressive landscape. Caves, birds and flowers offer opportunities for painting, photography, climbing, biking and walking Including the unique Cueva de la Pileta with guided tours daily.
In the centre of this white village, my old house is a favourite with the friendly community.
Through the double wooden doors to a large salon, beyond which is the productive kitchen and a garden. A central patio has stairs to a wood floored timber roofed salon, plenty of books, objects and information to browse in comfort. Local phone calls & email access are free. There is a bedroom with 2 comfy single beds, and 1 double bedroom on the ground floor and a double upstairs (all of a good size).
Breakfast is included, served either downstairs or on the upper terraces where the mountains beckon.Picnics & Dinner can be provided - I'm a really good cook.

Directions
The village is 20mins from RONDA in bus, train or vehicle. From the coast take the Algeciras-Ronda train or Ronda road to Benaojan. From Ronda take the Sevilla road. Outside Ronda on the Seville road TURN LEFT to Cortes de la Frontera/Benaojan. A 15 minute journey by road or rail.
There is a bus from RONDA bus station at 1pm on weekdays direct to the village, then 5mins easy walk.
The station is 20 mins uphill walk but I can often arrange a taxi in advance. Calle Fuente is the street off the central plaza beside the old church. My pale blue house is on the right side. Do not attempt to drive a car up the street, it ends in wild country! You will not fail to have a wonderful time.
