La Casa Mata is made by all of you. It was created with your help. It is made by people that we meet in the streets of the sunny, colourful and vibrant city that is Malaga. It is peoples’ contributions to the ideal meeting and exchange point where culture and creativity get together and where one can come in contact with people from all over the world.


When you visit La Casa Mata you will find record of the realization of an idea(l) and we will strive for each and every one of you to leave with the best memories. Hopefully you will leave us with a smile as many people did since its creation.

La Casa Mata is in a wonderful location, right in the historic centre of Malaga and it is the closest to both train and bus stations at about 15 minutes walk. It is at a stone throw from all the sites of cultural interest such as Picasso museum, the cathedral, Alcazaba castle as well as all the best clubs in town for your wild nights out. Malagueta beach is at 10 minutes walk to enjoy the amazing sunny days of ´La Costa del Sol´ and sunbathe for a killer tan.

You will find language skilled staff welcoming you 24/7 and at your arrival we will provide you with a map and all the information about any happenings, cultural activities and Malaga's great movida.

La Casa Mata is a clean and friendly environment, rooms are spacious with an individual safe for everyone. You will have the chance of enjoying our game room, make your friends envious by sending pictures of Malaga and/or surfing the net with our wifi network.


You can also chill on a big warm couch in the video lounge while watching one of the many movies available, meet the other guests of the house in the lively bar to the sound of a funky tune and if you have cooking skills you will find a fully fitted kitchen at your complete disposal to express your creativity.

Directions

From the airport:

Bus number 19 runs from 07.00 to 24.00 toward Paseo del Parque. Be aware that the final stop is not the central bus station but is further down to Alameda Principal. From here it is more convenient to walk by ´Rio Guadalmedina´ in order to reach Calle Carretteria, one of the major streets of the city center.
