Solheim Accommodation

Solheim Accommodation is a building which is renewed over the past 10 years. The hosts are art/craft and music teachers. Kari runs a shop in the house with craftworks for sale and she produces modern leaded glass. The property also comprises a barn, greenhouse and football field. Hens, rabbits and birds reside here.

Solheim lies in a beautiful area between Bo and Seljord in the heart of Telemark near the east side of Seljord Lake, which is famous for the sea serpent Selma. Good possibilities for swimming, fishing, climbing and hiking in the forest and mountains. Short way to Sommarland waterpark in Bo, the Telemark Canal, Lifjell and Gaustatoppen mountains.

There are good connections with trains and express buses. The Oslo Torp airport bus and Oslo/Bergen Express stop ouside. One may as well mention that there are several ski centers in the nearby mountains, like Lifjell (25 min drive).

Directions

It's really easy to reach our b&b from the airports and biggest cities in Norway as we are situated by the road where the bus expresses Oslo-Bergen and Sandefjord (Torp) -Seljord pass.
The nearest train station in Bo is 15 min. away by bus.

From Sandefjord - Torp Airport (Ryanair):
By bus, Telemarkekspressen, 2,5 hrs directly to Hegna Camping, the bus stops outside our guesthouse. Approx. 2 hrs by car from Torp

From Oslo (Gardermoen Airport):
Alternative 1: By railway 2 hrs from Oslo Central Station to Bo Station in Telemark.
Then by bus, Telemarkekspressen, 15 min to our property - the stop is called Hegna Camping.
Alternative 2: By bus, Haukeliekspressen, 2,5 hrs directly from Oslo to Hegna Camping, the bus stops outside our guesthouse.

From Haugesund/Bergen:
By bus, Haukeliekspressen, directly to Hegna Camping, the bus stops outside our guesthouse.

By car: Road 36 between Bø and Seljord in Telemark, 13 km from Bo, 16 km from Seljord, a large yellow house by the road marked by a sign 'Kunst og Handverk'. A sign on the house reads 'Eden Glassdesign'.
