For us is a pleasure serve and attend you as you deserve.Our hostel occupies a building of the XIX Century, and it’s considered by the National Institute of Archeology and History as an historic monument of this city.

La Catrina is situated in the Historic Center of San Cristobal de Las Casas, just 2 blocks from the Central Park. Our perfect location lets you enjoy the best architecture of the city and for you comfort there are a great number of bars, coffee shops, restaurant’s, travel agency’s, laundry’s, money exchange places, banks, hand craft store’s and so on.

We offer you security, clean and comfort in our bedrooms, the lowest prices in the downtown, good atmosphere, the best services and a friendly staff ready to help you.


All of our bedrooms have private bathroom. And you can choose between a shared and a private room. In addition, for your comfort we have a female exclusive shared dormitory for 4 persons.

We are exactly 10 blocks from the Central Bus Station. Almost 15 minutes walking. A taxi from de Bus Station charges you between $20- $25 pesos.


All our guests can use the whole services of the Hostal that are: a common area with sky television, dvd’s and a huge selection of movies, Xbox and some games, Wi-Fi Internet, Hot Water 24 hours, use of the Kitchen, chimney for that cold nights and the terrace with its unique views from the downtown.


If you are looking us in a travel book, for sure we are not in there because we just open on January 2008. The mattresses, beds, linen, towels and pillows are new. So he hopes soon appear in the most travel guides as possible.

Directions

We are exactly 10 blocks from Central Bus Station.
To arrive La Catrina Posada from there just walk 8 blocks from the Bus Station in the Insurgentes Avenue in direction to downtown (it may takes you 10 minutes). When you arrive at Francisco I. Madero Street (the corner of the Central Park) turn to right and walk 2 blocks in this street. We are in the corner with Josefa Ortiz Avenue.

If you don't want to walk, a taxi from the Bus Station to the Hostel should charges you between $20 - $25 pesos.

Remember, we are just 2 blocks from Central Park in Francisco I. Madero Street.
