Antico Casale Coutry House

Located in the Peugian countryise , 25 Km far from Perugia city centre, Antico Casale of Monte Gualandro is a historic noble country residence from the 18th century, situated in 100,000 square metres of parkland with centuries old olives and a splendid view of Lake Trasimeno, on the border between Tuscany and Umbria.

You will be welcome in our wellness centre with indoor heated swimming-pool, jets for cervical massage, counter-current swimming, sauna, Turkish bath, 6-person Jacuzzi whirlpool Spa, relax room with chromotherapy and aromatherapy facilities, gym, herbal tea room and 4 massage box, where trained hands are available to carry out relaxing massages.

The Antico Casale, after more than three hundred years, has returned to its original vocation as an inn.


The building has been carefully restored with particular consideration for its historical significance, preserving the original materials (cotto, tiles, wooden beams, frescoes, coats of arms, fire places) where ever possible, to create a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

Guests can use the large open swimming pool with a magnificent view on the lake, as well as a sun-terrace and a barbecue.

THE CONFERENCE ROOM 'TRASIMENO‘S ROOM'
The hall on the first floor houses the meeting room which accommodates more than eighty people. It is equipped with large screen TV, PC connection, projector, Internet connection.

The hall is united by an internal stair to the restaurant below and overlooks the bright terrace and the park.

We offer pleasant and relaxing coffee break to people attending a meeting or course, also in the open terrace. It is also possible to hold courses out of doors.

Thanks to the presence of the wellness Centre, situated in the same building, it is possible to alternate easily between work and relaxation.

How to reach us:

The Antico Casale is 100 m far from the border between Umbria and Tuscany, on Lake Trasimeno, in Tuoro sul Trasimeno, along the SS 75-bis national road leading to Cortona and Arezzo. More precisely, the cottage lies at km 48,200 of the SS 75-bis road.

Leave the Motorway at the exit Bettolle - Valdichiana, turn right towards Perugia; leave the highway at Tuoro sul Trasimeno. After 400 meters, at the crossroads, instead of going straight to the town, turn left towards Arezzo along the SS 75-bis road.

Go ahead on this road along Lake Trasimeno: at km 46 you will see the Ristoro Punta Bella on the left.

After 2,200 meters, when you find a wrought iron gate and an avenue of cypresses on the right, you will have reached the Antico Casale of Monte Gualandro. For further information feel free to call us.
