Casa Del Monacone

At Casa del Monacone you have the unique possibility to be a guest of the Ancient Convent, near the Basilica of Santa Maria of Sanità, in the middle of the popular and historic Rione Sanità!

The spaces originally destinated to the monks have been renovated by some young boys of “La Paranza” together with a famous Neapolitan designer, Riccardo Dalisi. They have created 6 warm and comfortable rooms (all of them with in-suite bathrooms), one dining room, a kitchen and a terrace (where it is possible, from spring to autumn, to have breakfast near the historical bridge of the Sanità).

Dalisi has created a soft style, proving that in Sanità ancient and modern can live together in harmony.

Our double and triple rooms are equipped with bathroom, air conditioning, tv, minibar. Services: lift, internet point, terraces, Wi-Fi.


The Monacone is in a strategic position for the city’s sights, both ancient and modern, because it is near the lines 1 and 2 of Naples’ Metro. We are also near Spacca Napoli (intra moenia) with its churches and the Cathedral, at the feet of Vomero Hill (modern town), near the Pinacoteca of Capodimonte and its Wood (green part of the city), the Archeological Museum and a little further away, there is the Real Orto Botanico.

Casa del Monacone is 3km from the railway station and 4km from the airport.

You can reach our guesthouse by metro - line 1 stopping at 'museo' - linea 2 stopping at 'piazza Cavour'. The distance between the metro and Casa del Monacone is 1km.

To reach us by motorway you can exit at 'Capodimonte'.
