We are located a few minutes from the train station and near the Accademia Gallery.

Il Giglio d'Oro Guesthouse is located in the center of Florence.

Thanks to it’s proximity to the Duomo, a leisurely 15 minute stroll, the centre of town can
easily be reached by those Guests who reach us in train or car. From the
Central Station of Santa Maria Novella, 'Il Giglio d'Oro” Guesthouse can be reached in less than a 10 minute cab ride or 15 minutes' drive from the 'Firenze Sud' exit on the A1 highway following the internal main boulevard.

Other than being ideally located in reach of the main cultural and historical sites:

City Bus number 17 to reach the Dumo and the Central Railway Station in 10 minutes.
Number 10 and 11 to reach the Accademia di Belle Arti (Michelangelo's “David” in maximum 10 minutes).
Number 20 to reach the “Pitti” Exhibition in 10 minutes.

The best Pizzerias, Ice-cream shops and Markets can be reached in less than 5 minutes.

How to reach us:
From the central Railway Station 'Santa Maria Novella' you can take a taxi or at the
exit of the station the bus number 17 or 11, and you will get off in
front of us, in 10/15 minutes.

Regarding Parking, we don't have garage, you can leave the car in
front of the building, using the public park place, you pay from 08:00 am to 08:00 pm 1 euro per hour, at night and on Sundays it's free of charge.
