FREE SHUTTLE FROM FLORENCE Please read and understand the information concerning our shuttle service BEFORE booking!Our shuttle only picks up 2 times a day.In the morning at 10:30 in Florence or in the evening at 20.00 in Pistoia. We are located 40km(about 1 hour shuttle drive)from Florence. If you are only interested in seeing Florence this is not the place for you.We only have 2 shuttle times and if you miss the shuttle you will need to get a taxi or bus (last bus 8pm no bus on sundays) at your cost. This is Tuscany , clean ,quiet and calm from here you get an opportunity to see Florence for the day and return to a quiet and peaceful location.

Welcome to Heart of Tuscany Hostel. A unique hostel , located in San Baronto a small town 40 Km from Florence in the Chianti region that will offer you the chance to see the best Tuscany has to offer, because Tuscany is so much more than Florence.


The Hostel is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards outside of Florence. Heart of Tuscany Hostel provides you a unique hosteling experience. With our free shuttle bus it is easier than ever before to enjoy Tuscany!

We are centrally located in Tuscay making it easy to make day trips (shuttle or public bus)to see the most famous Tuscan villages including Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano and Siena . Plus with our bike rentals you can freely check out the local area, you will get a chance to see the vineyards Tuscany is so famous for, great artwork in the pope's villa and the hometown of Leonardo da Vinci with a stop in the Museum of Vinci to check out some of Leonardo's most famous works.

A three to four day stay will give you a chance like no other to experience Tuscany in an exciting and unforgettable way!

We have a free daily shuttle pick up in Florence from the Santa Maria Novella Station (in front of the McDonalds outside!) to the hostel at 10:30am and 20:00pm pick up outside the Pistoia station, Daily pick-ups from Pistoia Station to the hostel at: , 20:00. All departures go to S.M.N. station in Florence.


We depart from the hostel with our free shuttle going to Florence for checkouts and day trips at 9:30am *ATTENTION all checkouts must take this shuttle!*

Heart of Tuscany is making Tuscany easier than ever before with prices starting from 15 Euro per bed in our dorm rooms.We are in a Denuclearized zone(energy conservation) so the month of October we only have heating in main building as well a fire place,the rooms are not heated.

Directions

We provide a free shuttle bus from the Santa Maria Novella Station in Florence and Pistoia (a stop on the Pisa/Firenze train line) direct to the Heart of Tuscany Hostel!

If you are coming by car, Just take the FI-PI-LI from Firenze. Exit at “Empoli Est” and follow the signs for Vinci, or the A11 and exit at Pistoia. We are on top of the hill over Vinci. At the top of the hill is San Baronto 2.5 ks on the right,driving towards Vinci is our driveway with a sign 100 ft before that is written Papiano . Coming from Porciano 2.5 ks on the left is the driveway. The sign at the top of the driveway reads Leonardo's Land the Heart of Tuscany with our address.
