Il Valecolo

Il Valecolo” is a warm B&B well located in an ancient and independent building in the heart of Catania’s downtown, in the very old neighborhood de “La Civita”.

Very close to the B&B there are a lot of interesting places to visit, like the historic fish market La Pescheria (that will fascinate you with its colors of fresh fishe and the sound of the fisherman selling it), the majestic Theater Massimo Vincenzo Bellini, Via Etnea with plenty of shops and with the huge Piazza Duomo and Via Crociferi.

The strength of our B&B is the positioning due to its pleasant location, where during evening you have the possibility, on walking distance, to reach many restaurants, wine bars and pubs, which offer plenty of fresh food with pleasant music.
The final step to conclude the evening in typical Italian style will be the amazing Sicilian ice cream in one of Via Etnea’s famous bars.

Directions

The B&B is well connected to Fontanarossa’s airport, as it is only 5 Kms away.
Both bus and railway station are just 300 m away and seaside and Etna mountain are easily reachable.

From the Airport:
Take bus number 457, getting off in Piazza Cute. Go down on your right on Via Cali. You will find us on your left in around 30mt.

From Train Station:
Take the bus until Via Vittorio Emanuele or going on foot to Piazza Cute. From there go down on your right on Via Cali you will find us on your left after 30mt.
