House placed 25 km from Assisi, on the hills of North Umbria, strategic position to visit the best sites as Gubbio, Assisi, Perugia, Spello and more.

In the countryside, with a lot of space inside and outside. Rooms with private and semiprivate bathrooms, quiet, clean and at the same time, not far from services.

Good food and wine, folklore history, art, sport, pools nearby plus most sport activities are available in the surrounding area.

Local Italian cooking courses and guided tours (Rome and Florence are 2 hours drive only) can be organized on request. Other activities can be arranged if requested enough time in advance.

Directions

Buses and trains stop at approximately 1 km from the house, that is 800 m. from the Flaminia road, and about 300m. from the centre of Gaifana village.
Keep on the western side of the main road and cross the little brigde(il mulino sign) on the railroad at the entrance of the village (in front of the fire brigade barracks). Turn left and after 250m. turn right(via carbonara alta). 1100m. later you're there. If you prefer to come by car from Assisi follow the road signs to Gualdo Tadino . Just outside the stone arch closing that side of Assisi have a look at your car meter and go: after 13kms. you should be at S.Presto. Go on and after 6.7 kms turn right at the sign indicating Nocera Umbra. Go on and after 5,8 kms you'll see a small group of houses, turn left into a small country road going downhill. Continue and after 1 km turn right, another 900m. and you made it.

Best incoming/outgoing airport is Ancona, the railway is right there and then in 2 hours you should be arrived.
Watch for student holidays, because in those periods public transports will not be at their best; summer student holiday end approx 10 Sept. The best map to see and find the location is in the english section...I recommend to use it. General information:if you come by train please remember to stamp the tickets in the yellow machines at the stations;call me if you need a lift.
