The Table of the Knights” chooses the harmony and beauty of nature, enabling our guests to rediscover the real “hospitality” and to experience a special sense of well-being. Only 14km (25 min drive) from Assisi.

The Villa, completely restructured but fully respecting the ancient traditions, is surrounded by 18 hectares of land and woods (high stalk), and it is well equipped for pleasant walks or horse-back riding. You can also use one of our mountain bikes, to discover and wander in many intriguing paths, with different levels of difficulty.

Situated at approximately 800 meters high above sea level, we are completely immersed in the natural Park of the “Mount Subasio”, with unforgettable views all around, where you can easily recognise the famous “Rocca” (the ancient fortress of Assisi), many green hills and the Appennine mountains. The life in the village is simple and characterized by the rhythms in complete harmony with the atmosphere. A careful selection of ingredients, chosen between the products of our farm, allows the realization of special dishes following ancient recipes from the traditional Umbrian-Tuscan culture.


The respect of the traditions invites to the discovery of scents and the “ancient” tastes, with the exclusive use of our own cow breedings (Chianina) and porks (the famous black pig), eating directly on our fields in complete liberty. Ours selection of cold meats like salami ham etc…, are handcrafted here on the spot and they are stored in our wine cellars for the time they need to become a “special product”.

A careful dedication taken in the phase of production, as in the delicate phase of transformation, allows us to offer an advanced quality on every single product we produce: from pasta to oils, cheese to salami and even home-made beer, prestigious product of the “Relais Monastery of San Biagio”, always in our property just few minutes away.

Starting from the original building, after a careful restoration work in the respect of the ancient traditions of the place, we offer nice and pleasant country houses, a few meters away one from the other, all of them characterized by large rooms and relaxing atmospheres.

The complete property has 12 double rooms with bath, all of them furnished with lovely antique furniture of the early 1900, offering various combinations and solutions of services and spaces for the various requirements of the customer. From every room there’s a beautiful view on the surrounding green hills or breathtaking sunsets giving you an evocative impression of a special atmosphere, inviting for a holiday of peace and relax.

How to reach us:

From Florence:

From Motorway A1 (Firenze-Roma) exit Valdichiana, than take the Freeway Bettolle-Perugia. After Perugia continue in direction Spoleto-Terni and exit Assisi Santa Maria degli Angeli. Then continue in direction of Assisi Centre on S.S 444 in direction of Gualdo Tadino. After Assisi continue for 6 km approximately. Than take the crossroad on the right and continue for approximately 2 km following directions and signs to 'Tavola dei Cavalieri'.

From North: take the Freeway A14 (Bologna-Rimini) exit Cesena North, then continue on the Freeway E-45 in direction of Perugia. After Perugia continue in direction of Assisi-Foligno-Spoleto and exit only at Assisi Santa Maria degli Angeli. Then continue towards Assisi Centre on S.S 444, in direction of Gualdo Tadino. After Assisi continue for 6 km approximately. Than take the crossroad on the right and go on for approximately 2 km following signs for 'Tavola dei Cavalieri'.

From south: From Motorway A1 (Firenze-Roma) exit at Orte, then take the Freeway E-45 direction Terni-Spoleto, once you arrive in Foligno continue in the direction of Fano (not Perugia) and take the Flaminia road until the Valtopina (exit from the E-45), then turn on the left for Armenzano and follow signs for 'Tavola dei Cavalieri'.
