Hotel Sonmony

Welcome to Sonmony!
Our guesthouse offers budget-minded travelers a range of clean, comfortable rooms, all with attached bathrooms equipped with hot/cold showers, and western-style toilets. We are located are located right on Harishchandra Ghat, and many of our rooms have private balconies with excellent views of the River Ganga. You can catch views from our rooftop garden restaurant as well.

We provide free pick-up services 24 hours a day from Varanasi Junction train station and the Varanasi Bus Stand. We'd appreciate advance notice, but you can call us when you arrive at the station or stand and we'll pick you up within an hour (it's hard to find a rickshaw late at night!). If you choose to make your way here on your own, rickshaws can drop you at our doorstep!

Directions

From Varanasi Junction/Bus Stand:

Take a prepaid rickshaw (~ Rs. 75/- - it's a LONG walk) and ask for Harishchandra Ghat. We are down at the very end of the road leading to Harishchandra Ghat on the left side. Please don't listen to Rickshaw-wallahs who say our hotel is bad or has fallen into the Ganga River (yes, they actually do say that!).
