Tucked away in a tiny village in the South of Hungary, a local bus ride away forom Pecs, our traditional Hungarian farm-house is suitable for those passing through on a wine tour of Hungary or on a bicycle tour, backpacking from Istanbul to Copenhagen, just wishing to spend some quiet time in the country, or wanting to explore historic Pecs.
Ideal for those interested in farming, sustainable agriculture and alternative technology. We offer large rooms with shared cooking, bathroom, wc and laundry facilities. As well as being a hostel, ours is a working farm. At the time of writing (summer 2007) we are keeping pigs, goats and chickens, and growing vegetables (both on the field and in a poly-tunnel), grain, hay, fruit-trees and staple local food plants such as peas, beans, marrows.

You are welcome to take an interest in our agricultural activities. We aim to be an ecologically sound, sustainable farm. The hostel is, however, in a separate building to the active farm parts, so there's no need to get dirty.
