Hostal Chasqui is situated at the first entrance of Otavalo, arriving from the capital of Ecuador which is Quito, you have to walk down the road for 4 blocks to the centre, then turn on the right and walk up the road for another 2 blocks, or ask for a taxi in Otavalo and the taxi fees will be paid by the hostel.

You can also easily get to the plaza de ponchos in 5 minutes, where there is the famous market and you will be in the middle of the centre.

Directions

To reach Otavalo you have to take a bus or taxi from the airport Quito to the bus-terminal.

From the bus-terminal there are several buses which go to Otavalo, there are no bus nr. but all buses which go to tulcan pass Otavalo or there are buses which go directly to Otavalo. You have to get off on the first entrance of Otavalo from there you could take a taxi to the property and the taxifees will be paid by the hostel. Or you reach the property by foot, you turn right and followe the street which goes to the center after 4 blocks turn again right and walk up the road for another 2 blocks and there is the Hostal Chasqui.

Arrival by car from Quito: take the E-35 panamericana highway to the north, to State Imbaburra, direction Ibarra, Tulcan, Colombia.

Leave the highway on the first entrance of Otavalo. You can't miss Otavalo because the panamericana highway pass a part of Otavalo. From the first entrance turn right and followe the street which goes to the center of Otavalo after 4 blocks turn right again and you alreday see the Hostal Chasqui.
