We are a Guest house (hostel) at Santa Marta, Colombia. we are located at 50 meters from the most beautiful bay of Latin America, 15 minutes away from Taganga, tourist destination for been a fisherman village renown for it natural landscapes and sea food. Additionally, we are close (can go by walking) to the departure and arrival point of the buses to the Tayrona natural park. Also only a few minutes walking from the banks.

Our rooms construction is fresh and cozy, with an family environment, with a social room and a kitchen for the use of our guests, open anytime day or night. We offer comfortable rooms for a single person or for groups and also a dormitory shared for backpackers.

Our prices are good for any traveler:


-Low season:

US $9.50 (20000 Colombian pesos) per person. In a room with ventilator and private bathroom, when the room is taken by more than one person we ofer a discount.

US $ 7.50 (15.000 Colombian pesos) per person in a shared room (dormitory) with fan and bathroom.

-High season:

US $ 12.00 (26.000 Colombian pesos) per day, per person, in a room with ventilator and private bathroom. When the room is taken by more than one person we ofer a discount.

US $ 9.00 (17.000 colombian pesos)per person in a shared room (dormitory) with fan and bathroom.

Directions

There are many ways to geto to our hostal:
the best way comming form the bus terminal is taking a taxi, it will cost about $4000 (colombian pesos), tahs about US$2.4.
You can also come by plane and any bus that comes from the airport passed by the 'centro' and all you have to do is ask the bus driver to drop yo at the calle 12 (12 street), then you walk about 4 blocks west and on 12 street is el hostal la galeria, at 50 meters from the beach..
other way, whe comming by bus from other town, from the bus station ( terminal de transportes) you take any bus that gets to the 'centro' and you do the same: drop at 12 street and walk.
if you come from taganga is much easier, yust drop at the 12 street un front of the beach and walk 50 meters east, and there is the hostal la galeria.
