> Location <
Posada del SOL has moved to bigger and better location in the heart of Bogota, in early 2009. Generally, the security of La Candelaria area is complicated at night. However, the hostel is located just few blocks away from the presidential palace, the congress, and Plaza Bolivar. This guarantees better security in La Candelaria. You will see that there are police officers in every corner near the hostel.

> Comfortable sleep <
It's very uncommon to sleep on innerspring mattresses during travel South America, but Posada del SOL offers top quality mattresses from El DoradoTM (http://www.colchoneseldorado.com). Queen size mattresses are ready for double rooms. Also we offer double thick blanket to keep you warm, as sometimes Bogota is very chilly at night.

Posada del SOL is fully equipped for individual backpackers. The facilities are all new, clean, and well-maintained. We have 2 self-catering kitchens, many tables and sofas for study, drinking and taking a rest.

> Internet Service <
The hostel offers free use of Internet & WIFI. Don't worry for the speed and using Skype even it's free of charge. The hardware is also new and fully equipped. 4Mb of internet connection could be the fastest in all Latin America.

You will never be bored with us. Many hostels have DVD library, but especially Posada del SOL has the HD(High Definition) movie room inside! 46'LCD TV, 5.1 channel surround speakers, and 200+ Blu-ray movies await you. You can also enjoy video games, board games and table tennis here!

> Social events <
The nightlife of Bogota begins every Wednesday, but Friday and Saturday could be better to go out. You don't need to wander until weekend to find something fun. The hostel offers BBQ party on every Thursday! Only for USD5(COP$10,000) you can join the party. Drinks are included in the price. Salsa classes and tournament games are held sometimes as well!

> Private Spanish Class <
Don't waste your time and money to learn Spanish, with unqualified teachers in places such as Antigua. Many people know that Colombian Spanish is the best through all Latin America. However, where in Colombia can you learn by qualified and experienced teachers? We offer private(1on1) Spanish class for everyone, by reasonable tuition - COP$250,000(15hrs) ~ COP$625,00060hrs). Our teachers are bilingual(English, Spanish), and majored in language teaching at Los Andes university.

A Korean backpacker and PADI professional divemaster, Danny has been travelling around the world since 2003. He finally chose Colombia as second home, and successfully opened his travellers' meeting-point at Bogota in early 2008. As the owner as well is a backpacker, we know needs and wants of travellers in detail. Tourist information is available for everyone.

We are located 10 minutes walk away from Transmilenio 'Museo del Oro', and just few blocks away from Botero Museum, Bolivar square.

The taxi fare from the bus terminal costs COP$9,000, from the airport costs around COP$17.000.
Additional fee of COP$1,600 is needed after 8PM.
