This hostel has a lot of real Chilean gaucho soul. After spending over 25 years on a horse, taking care of Patagonian cattle, Natalino Johnny Callahan decided to share a bit of gaucho feeling with tourists. Hostel ‘Alma Gaucha’ is located in one of the oldest houses of Puerto Natales, build by Johnny’s relatives around 1900, when the first settlers arrived in this part of Patagonia.
The hostel is nearby shops and the small city center. It has two mixed dorms and for couples there is a double room . There is free luggage storage and the hostel has kitchen facilities, but more important… it offers you the chance to experience a bit of real Patagonia. Let Johnny explain you about Patagonia, Mate drinking culture and maybe you will even have the chance to experience a real Patagonian Asado (bbq) in his big backyard.
* Souvenirs and Postcards.
