Description of Surrounding Area

We are located in Transylvania County, known as "The Land of Waterfalls" with over 250 listed on the books in the foothills of The Blue Ridge Mountains. Lots of adventure here, including Biltmore Estate, Chimney Rock Park, Smoky Mountain Railway, Brevard Music Festival, Pisgah National Forest (where Sliding Rock is located), Dupont State Forest, Gorges State Park, hiking, canoeing/kayaking/tubing down the French Broad River, horseback riding, mountain biking, fishing, golf nearby, antique shopping and more...

Five charming cabins, 4 two bedrooms and 1-one bedroom on seven acres. Each are setup to sleep 4 people, 2 can accommodate more than 4 with the use of airbeds. All are fully equipped with kitchens, gas fireplaces, a/c & heat, satellite tv/vcr/dvd, all linens provided, gas grills on private porch & outside picnic table/area. Deer Lodge is our crown deluxe cabin with a hot tub on porch in a private wooded setting. Plenty of fun things to do on property, family swing area, nature trails twith fun surpises, rock garden waterfall pond, pavilion w/rock seated area, playhouse with checkers & treehouse with view of a barnyard meadow.

Sleeps & # of Bedrooms

Fox Hole is our 1 bedroom cabin with a queen bed and pullout sofa.
Squirrel Nest, Bear Cave, Raccoon Loft and Deer Lodge all have 2 bedrooms with different set-ups. Deer Lodge only has a hot tub on the back porch. Fox Hole & Deer Lodge both have washer/dryers and Deer Lodge has a dishwasher in the kitchen.

Amenities

All cabins are fully equipped kitchens, satellite TV/ DVD/VCR, gas log fireplaces, A/C and electric heat, telephones, gas grills on private porch, private picnic table area and some outside firepits. Deer Lodge only has a hot tub. We supply basically everything in the cabin except your food.

Services Offered

We can assist you with planning activities of your choice whether it be finding waterfalls, areas to hike, water sports, horseback riding, golf, sightseeing, dining or other interests in the area. We can accommodate a small wedding, family reunion or business retreat! All five cabins are private yet close enough to walk to each other.

Restrictions

We are pet friendly in certain cabins with a one time pet fee of $50.00, smoking outside only.

Directions

We are located just 3 miles in off of Highway 64 in Lake Toxaway. Take 281 N for 1 1/2 miles and then bear left on Slick Fisher Road and go another 1 1/2 miles to Seven Foxes Lane and we are on the left across from the Indian Lakes Estates.
