Description of Active Adventure

We are a family owned hunting and fishing company in Sweden and if you are looking for a great hunting, fishing or trekking experience in one of the last great wilderness areas in Europe, you have found the right place.

The keystone in all our packages is personal service, small groups, nice accommodation, good food and of course a great experience!

We offer hunting packages for ptarmigan, capercaillie, black grouse, elk and beaver and we can offer fishing for pike, perch, trout, char and grayling.

A typical activity starts with arrival to our camp in northern Dalarna where you will be served a local dinner and finish of the day with a wood fired sauna.

During the days where you will hunt or fish we start the day with breakfast before we drive to the hunting ground or the fishing spots. Lunch is normally served out in the woods or at the water.

When the sun set or in summer where the sun almost never sets we make the way back to the camp when we feel ready for dinner and of course a wood fired sauna.

Age range, type of group

All our hunting and fishing packages are for exclusive groups and we can cater for groups of 1-6 persons. A fishing guide can take up to 6 fishermen and for the bird hunting activities there will be 2-3 guests per guide (depending on the hunting form). The elk hunting is normally done with 2 guides per group.

Sleeping and meals

Camp Nordic Footprints is located at our base in Husvallgölen, i.e. between Särna and Sälen on road 311. The camp is situated just next to the river; "Fuluälven" and right on the hunting ground. In the area around the camp you can also find several great fishing.

The cottage is equipped with 4 beds, refrigerator, mini cooking plates, water boiler, boot dryer and kitchen equipment. Toilet is located outside of the cottage.

You will also have access to a 15m2 wood fired sauna every evening. There is no separate shower, washing is done in the sauna, Nordic style.

The menu is based on local food and game meat, fish, berries and fruit is on the menu. We will of course adapt the menu according to your preferences and allergies.

Restrictions

We don’t have any restrictions. We can cater for type of hunters / fishermen and every package will be adapted to your needs and requirements.

Capercaillie and black grouse, hunting with pointing dog – 1690 Euro per person for 5 hunting days (7 days including arrival and departure day)

Capercaillie and black grouse, trophy hunt with barking bird dog or skis –1490 Euro per person for 5 hunting days (7 days including arrival and departure day)

Ptarmigan – 1795 Euro per person for 5 hunting days (7 days including arrival and departure day)

Beaver – 1370 Euro per person for 5 hunting days (7 days including arrival and departure day)

Elk – 2750 Euro per person for 5 hunting days (7 days including arrival and departure day)

Exclusive winter hunt for capercaillie & black grouse with dog sleds – 3500 Euro per person for 3 hunting days (5 days including arrival and departure day)
