Twilight Charters, Maine and Bahamas Sail Charters

Civil Twilight is a 2004 Passport 470CC. Three private cabins, main salon with u-shaped settee and separate nav station, 2 heads, and galley. Galley is equipped with propane stove/oven, microwave, 12 volt refrigeration/freezer. All Coast Guard required safety equipment as well as navigational electronics and paper charts. Large cockpit with dining table, and ample aft-deck.

Destinations

Maine destinations vary depending on length of charter. A day charter might have no destination...just follow the wind. A one-night charter may find us in Boothbay Harbor, or Casco Bay. Longer charters can take us up to Penobscot Bay or Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island.

During the winter months, charters in the Exumas begin and end at Staniel Cay, midway along the 100-mile chain of Exuma islands. Abacos charters begin and end in Marsh Harbour.


Charters in the Abacos are based out of Marsh Harbour, on Great Abaco Island.

Typical Day

In Maine, the day begins at 10AM. Set sail and head out the Sheepscot River, passing 3 lighthouses in the first 5 miles. Looking out for seals, porppoise and whales, we might have lunch underway, or drop the anchor in a quiet cove. A Day charter returns to the Marina about 5PM. If you're out for an overnight, we'll drop the hook or pick up a mooring about 5PM. You can explore ashore while dinner is being prepared. After dinner, enjoy the stars, or curl up with a good book.

In the Bahamas, a typical day might start with a quick dip in the sparkling clear waters. After breakfast, a sail up island to that special snorking spot, or maybe a paddle in the kayaks through the mangroves. A walk on a secluded sandy beach is always a possibility.

Age range, type of group

We can accomodate up to 6 persons on a Day charter. Have a birthday party, or reward a small group of employees with a day on the water.

Overnight charters can accomodate 3 people, Children 5 years or older are welcome.

Sleeping and meals

Sleep accomodations include a private cabin forward with queen berth and ensuite head/shower, and a private cabin portside with a single berth. Tlhis cabin shares a head/shower with the captains quarters.
Alll meals are included on the overnight charters with the exception of one dinner ashore.

Lunch is included on the day charter.

Restrictions

No Pets, No Smoking, and No children under 5 years old.

We are NOT handicap accessible.

Rates vary depending on length of charter.
MAINE SUMMER RATES-

Day charter - $500/day up to 6 persons

One night/2 days - $900 double occupancy

Two nights/3 days - $1350 double occupancy

6 Nights/7 days - $3150 double occupancy

For longer charters, add $450/night.

BAHAMAS WINTER RATES:

7 days/6 nights $3750
