Activity/Tour
More than 30 sites of cultural, historical and architectural interest in Sofia, Plovdiv, Veliko Turnovo, the museum village of Arbanassi, Rila and Bachkovo Monastery, UNESCO sites, 1 dinner with folklore performance, activities during the annual Rose Festival in Kazanluk - the centre of the Rose Valley.
Typical Day
Early breakfast. Rose picking in the fields near Kazanluk. Visit a modern and a traditional Distillery, tasting of essential oils, Bulgarian pastry, liquor and rose jam. Visit Kazanluk Thracian tomb (UNESCO site, copy) and Goliama Kosmatka Thracian tomb (5th-3rd c BC). Visit Shipka memorial Church. Lunch BBQ with folklore performance. Departure to Koprivshtitsa museum town. Dinner and overnight at a traditional hotel.

Couples and singles are welcome, as well as all age ranges.
