Rustenburg Estate- Traditional Cape Dutch Architecture
Medium to large winery - The once-rustic stables house now a state-of-the-art tasting room Apart from tasting wines, one can stroll through the luscious, tranquil garden. Famous for Bordeaux Blend – John X Merriman (4 ½ * Platter) Chardonnay (4*)
Zorgvliet
Established in 1692, Zorgvliet Wine Estate is situated in the beautiful Banhoek Valley on the Helshoogte Pass. Picnics are available during the summer months (pre-bookings) Wines to look out for is the Silver Myn Viognier (3 ½*) Sauvignon Blanc (4 ½*) and ‘Richelle,’ Bordeaux Blend (4 ½ *).
Tokara
Spectacular panoramic views sweep from Table Mountain across False Bay to the lush green Idas Valley. Wines: Tokara Red (4 ½ *) Tokara White (4 ½ ) Chardonnay (4 *)
Graham Beck Cellar
State-of-the-art cellar – tasting room next to bottling cellar where one can see how the wines are bottled and labeled. Wines e.g. Pheasant’s Run Sauv Bl (4*) , Coffeestone Cab Sauv (4*) The Ridge Syrah (4 ½ *). First winery to make a Cap Classique from Pinotage grapes. Other MCC include Brut Rosé (4*) Blanc de Blanc (4 ½ *)
De Meye Estate
Boutique-style wine estate with rustic tasting room, known for their Unwooded Chardonnay (3*) French-style Shiraz (4*) and ‘Trutina’ special blend of Cab Sauv / Shiraz (4*)
Quoin Rock Winery
Small boutique-style winery, known for its Syrah (4 ½ *), Merlot (4 ½ *) Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc (both 4*)
Glen Carlou
Situated on the R45 between Stellenbosch & Franchhoek. Award winning wines e.g. Syrah (4 ½ *)
Gravel Quarry Cab Sauv (4 ½ *) Pinot Noir (4*) Chardonnay Reserve (4 ½ *)
L’Avenir Estate
Tasting presented in rustic cellar - reputation for benchmark Pinotage and chenin. Grand Vin Pinotage (4 ½ *) Chenin (4*) and Cape Vintage Port (4*)

La Petite Ferme – Upmarket and Contemporary Cuisine - BYO Corkage @ R25 - A magnificent view, fresh, flavourful cuisine from local produce and warm hospitality. Succulent specialties from the all-girl kitchen team include home-smoked Franschhoek Rainbow Trout, slow-roasted Lamb and warthog bresaola.
Reuben’s – Upmarket Global Cuisine – BYO Corkage @ R30 – A byword for simply prepared, fresh and unintimidating food. Ambience is warm with a sunny courtyard for alfresco meals. Menu include Indian Prawn Risotto and avo cream; roast duck salad with honey-chilli dressing, mizuna and mint.

Typical Day
Your day will start at 09:30 with a pick up at your guesthouse or at the shop. From there, depending on the tour, you might enjoy breakfast on a wine farm, taste wines at various farms in and around the wider Stellenbosch area, stop for lunch on a wine farm or at a restaurant in a wine area.
Since you are not driving, you can sit back and enjoy your tastings!
