Destinations

Our sailing cruises are primarily focusing on Eastern Indonesia, almost all our cruises start in Bali.
Highlights during our sailing adventures are the islands of Lombok, Sumbawa, Komodo, Rinca, Flores, the Moluccas, and Irian Jaya (West-Papua) where we will visit among other places the famous Asmat tribe.

Typical Day

Journeys along the Lesser Sunda Islands remain among our favorite itineraries and for good reasons. Few areas in Asia can lay claim to such cultural and natural diversity: towering active volcanoes, jungle-clad mountain ranges, and dry savannah, teeming with wildlife, quiet coastal villages, emerald seas, megalithic cultures, colorful market places, tribal rituals and architecture, not to mention a world of kaleidoscopic beauty under water.


This cruise will cover a. o. the Komodo area for a couple of days of snorkeling, beach combing and hiking through one of the most beautiful National Parks of Indonesia.


The Flores Highlands will be an opportunity to hike to some remote villages and witness the tedious process of ikat weaving, practiced amid unsurpassed scenery of gigantic volcanoes, bamboo forests and intriguingly coloured crater lakes.

Sleeping and meals

The Cabins; The Katharina boasts 7 airconditioning cabins designed and laid out in a truly five star fashion.
Lower deck you may find:
2 twin cabins with a lower and upper single bed
2 double cabins with a lower double and an upper single bed.
2 double cabin with double bed

Each cabin has a private bathroom, laid out in marble, granite and mosaic, while the cabin areas have amenities as a wardrobe, a safety box, binoculars, intercom and soft lighting.

Upper deck you may find:
A family suite with a king size bed, a single bed and a children’s bedstead/bench. Space allows of an extra mattress, if wished for
Stretched out on the king size bed both on starboard as on portside you may enjoy the view of islands floating by.

This cabin is convenient to families of up to 5, with children aged, say, 3, 8 and 14, but also provides perfect conditions for a superb honeymoon.

We have built a strong reputation for the great quality of food, all is included (excl alcoholic drinks).
