Please consider spending your weekend or school holiday at our beach house. We have had many enjoyable days with friends here. We like to call our extended group the OG Family! We have now decided to welcome you to spend time with your friends and family here as well. We live in California and look forward to our summer Down Under. The house is quirky and rambling with no particular floorplan. There are many rooms and there are plenty of beds here and there. We manage to spend most of the time in the kitchen! It is not flash! It is weathered, cozy and sheltered in Old Ocean Grove. It is 4 doors to the historic Uniting Church. You can hear the sound of the surf at night and walk to the beach or shops in 5 minutes. It is a 15 minutes walk to the flagged surf beach at the Dunes Cafe. We have walked to the Pt. Lonsdale Lighthouse and to Barwon Heads many times. We do not own a car in Australia. The bus stops in front of the house and will take you to Queenscliff in 30 minutes or the Geelong Station to reach Melbourne in about 2 hours. The teenagers love their independence and we love that they can get places on their own! For us, it's all about surfing, walking and eating!
