Description of Surrounding Area

The Silver Spur Guest Ranch is located approximately 50 miles northwest of San Antonio and 9 miles from Bandera, the "Cowboy Captial of the World", in the most beautiful part of the Texas Hill Country. We are adjacent to the Hill Country State Natural Area with over 5,600 acres. Our almost 300 acres property has flat areas, green meadows and scenic hills. It is the place to relax on the front porch and to enjoy a real Texas sunset.

The accommodations at the Silver Spur Guest Ranch are cozy comfortable and Western style. We have 9 guest rooms, of which four are spacious for larger families, and 4 guest cabins which can sleep up to 5 people each, and two bunk style cabins. Each room and cabin has private bathroom, AC/heater and TV. Our main lodge is big enough for everybody to relax, play pool or just having a good time in front of a cozy fireplace.

Directions

From San Antonio take Hwy 16 to Bandera. In Bandera turn left on Hwy 173 south, cross the Medina River and right after that, take the first road to the right, which is FM 1077, drive 9 miles and the Silver Spur Guest Ranch is on the right hand side.
