Kingfisher Lodge Kichwamba

Kingfisher Lodge Kichwamba opened on the 1st of July 2006. It is the second Hotel to Kingfisher Safaris Resort in Jinja.

The Lodge at Queen Elisabeth National Park is situated in the hills on Busheny side, overlooking the Park. We are outside the Park and the main entrance to the Park is only 20 minutes from us.

We have 5 double Rooms with balconies overlooking Queen Elisabeth National Park, 2 twin with balconies overlooking Queen Elisabeth National Park, 2 singles

We are currently expanding the building to include 25 additional rooms by the end of 2008.

Directions

By Car / Taxi:

From Kampala or Entebbe using the route Masaka, Mbarara, Busheny, Iskaka - 44kms after Ishaka, you will see on the right a signpost saying “Kichwamba Sec. School”, shortly after there you branch to the left (roofed signpost). From the Main road, after 500m, you will be able to see the entrance of Kingfisher Lodge Kichwamba. If you reach the Cotton Factory then you have gone 1 km too far.


By Bus:

From Old Taxi Park in Kampala with Akamba or Getaway bus. Direction to Kasesse thru Busheny. Tell the Bus driver to drop you at Kichwamba Trading centre after Iskaka.
