Hostel Hoff

The hostel is located in Moshi town at the base of Kilimanjaro, Northern Tanzania. It caters for volunteers who wish to work in Moshi but side step profit making organisations, and those who are travelling in Northern Tanzania, just passing through or climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.
It is a small, friendly hostel (the only one like it in the area) with small dorm rooms, and lots of communal areas outside and inside. Breakfast, dinner and laundry are included, there are no check-out times, no curfews and no rules, except to respect other guests.
We have links to projects in the town that are in need of volunteers and we give free advice and help to those staying with us regarding volunteering.
It is run by other young volunteers and travelleres and the emphasis is placed on having a relaxed place to stay and mixing with other travellers and volunteers.
We have a book swap, DVD room and bbq's, etc., at the weekend.

Directions

The hostel is located 5mins walk outside the town. It is difficult to find, however, for those not familiar with Moshi, so it is advised that you contact the number given above before reaching Moshi and a pickup will be organised.
