Youth Hostel Techirghiol

Youth Hostel in the Romanian Black Sea Region. A welcoming house in a small town in 15 Min. drive distance of the Beaches of Eforie Nord.

The house is run by the German Lutheran Church of Bucharest and was recently renovated (2004). It wants to give Youth-groups and young Families the possibility of low-price stays at the Romanian Black Sea. The town of Techirghiol is a small resort with a famous salty lake and only 30 Min. drive distance from the main railwaystation of Constanta.

38 Beds in 1, 2, 3 and 4-Bed rooms on 2 floors, 4 WC's and 2 showers per floor. Simple design, TV Room, Internet possibility, big outdoors for camping and sports, big terraces, BBQ Place, Free car parking.

You will get excellent house made food and will benefit of well deserved evening retreat from the noisy and modern beach resorts. The house is excellent for groups between 15 and 30 persons.


You should arrive best by car or minibus because it gives you more flexibility to explore the Romanian beach resorts. Arriving by train our public bus is also possible but you should be prepared for a 20 minute walk.

Directions

By Car:
- Drive into Constanta and take the direction EFORIE/MANGALIA
- in the town of AGIGEA take the turn right towards TECHIRGHIOL/NEGRU VODA
- after 3 km you enter TECHIRGHIOL. Take the second street to the left.
- after 200 m you arrive at the Hostel.

By Train:
- Take the train to EFORIE NORD via CONSTANTA
- In EFORIE NORD you can take a public minibus to downtown Techirghiol (10 Min. drive) Attention: Busses do not have a fixed schedule!
- You can take also a cab (about 15 EUR)
- from the Bus station in Techirghiol you have to make a 15-20 Minute hike to the Hostel. Best option is to simply ask for the 'German Guesthouse/Hostel'.
