Surfiberia

Surfiberia is more than a lodge with rooms. It offers everything you need for a perfect holiday. Located within the beautiful town of Sintra, in Praia das Maçãs, between the mountains and the ocean, it has culture, sports, action and much more to discover. The town of Colares has one of the oldest wine cellars in Portugal and you can take tours and do wine tasting days,
Praia das Maçãs also is the end of the line for the famous tram that travels from Sintra City Centre.

The lodge has 6 individually furnished rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. From doubles, twins, and triples and for up to 5 people, we cater for all varieties, whether a family, group of friends, couples or singles.
There is a communal lounge with TV, projector screen, DVD's, CD player, and more. A place to come and relax at the end of a hard day and meet new friends.
We have a veranda outside some of the rooms with tables, chairs and even a chill out swing to take in the spectacular views of the ocean or take a siesta with the sound of the waves as your background.

The roof garden has tables and chairs and sun loungers when you feel like getting away from it all, reach to the top and soak up the sun and dream of those beautiful walks in the mountains and around the Sintra castles.
At the front of the building there is a table and chairs and BBQ area with a table football for when you want something a bit more challenging!

At the lodge, you can book yourself into one of our surf courses, just take one lesson if you are not sure if water is your kind of thing or, just rent the equipment and try it out. We also have body boards and other waters sports equipment.
If you have kids, you can leave them enjoying the sea with one of our instructors whilst you go off and enjoy the town.
We are open 24 hours a day and 365 days a week. The lodge serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.


2 minutes walk away, you have the beach. The town has many bars, restaurants and coffee shops where you can sample the local cuisine and take in the culture.
There is public transport to take you to amazing spots such as Sintra, Cabo da Roca, Cascais, Estoril and of course Lisbon.
We are within easy reach from Lisbon and have good connections from Sintra town centre. We also offer a transfer service to and from Lisbon airport and the train station.

Directions

Surfiberia is located on the West side of Lisbon. 20 minutes drive from the airport and within easy reach from Sintra.

There is a train and bus service from Lisbon into Sintra and then to Praia das Macas.

A taxi will cost around 40 Euros from the airport but be careful if you are bringing your own boards as sometimes they do not take them or charge extra.

Surfiberia offers transfer services from and to the airport costing 12 Euros per person
