Nature Expedition Tract

Nature Expedition Tract offers adventurous guests the thrill of living in a longhouse, a village to renowned Iban tribe of Borneo for their colourful culture. Our accommodation is offered on full board basis.

The sleeping chamber can accommodate 10 guests , with a kitchen and a dining area, there is also a spacious living room, 1 bathroom and 2 latrines. Staying in this village gives you a golden opportunity to an adventure in Borneo rainforest.

We are located near Saratok town at the distance of 30 km. Travelers who wish to travel to the northern part of Borneo may catch a bus from the bus stop to Sibu town.

Thereon, you may take your bus ride to Miri town for the tropical dive or choose to fly to Bario - Kelabit Highlands (we can make arrangement for your stay in a cousin's village lodge there). You may either go on your caving adventure in Mulu (flight connection from Miri).


The road takes you up to Brunei, then further north to Sabah for mountain climbing in Kota Kinabalu. We can recommend a friendly and experinced tourist guide who can help you with your travel arrangement in Sabah and he also owns a backpacker's lodge in KK.

You may stay with us in our travelers hostel, Borneo Trekkers Bed & breakfast if you plan to return to Kuching after spending 2 nights in our Iban Longhouse village.
