'There is a valley in Umbria where nature marks the passing of time'. Podere Borgobello is only 12km from the historical city centre of Perugia.

Podere Borgobello is in a beautiful valley at the foot of Monte Tezio, and its history dates back to 1700. The building is that of a manor and the latest restoration works were done in the 1950’s including the old barn, the pigsty, the swimming pool and the small lake.

Podere Borgobello is now renewed, after a thorough restauration of the architectural structure. It has became an ideal place for a holiday of maximum relax.

The complex is surrounded by 13 hectares of land, a fascinating green stretch with Monte Tezio in the background. A place where time passes peacefully, and where the four seasons with their country activities accompany the visitors in the discovery of past times. So, whoever is interested, can learn some of the secrets and methods of the ancient country work (activities) “directly on the field”. Olive Production, Grape Harvest, Animal Farming, Vegetable Gardening.


Podere Borgobello is only 12km from the historical city centre of Perugia, capital city of the Region of Umbria and yet surrounded by open country side. Moreover, it is only at 3 km from the nearest freeway (E45) So, it is in a strategic position which makes it easy to reach both by car and public transport.

Directions

We are 10 km far form Perugia train Station, 20 km far from The S. Egidio (Perugia) Airport .

We have a Bus station 1 km far from Podere.

By car:
- motorway A1 “del sole” Florence Roma
for those arriving from North exit at Valdichiana Bettolle, follow connecting road Raccordo Perugia Bettolle towards Perugia.
Exit at Mantignana and follow road (traffic) signs to Mantignana and then Capocavallo: once in Capocavallo turn left on to Strada Tegolaro. At about 800mt on the right is Podre Borgobello.

- Dual carriage-way E45: exit at Pierntonio, turn on the left toward Perugia, following sings to Antognolla , pas the Castello di Antognolla and go straight ahead then take the road to Capocavallo.
At Capocavallo turn on the left on to Strada Tegolaro, after about 800mt, on the right, is Podere Borgobello.

- From the south: Exit at Orte-take dual carriage-way E45 towards Perugia, pass all exits to Perugia, continue straight till exit Mantignana and then those for Capocavallo. At Capocavallo take the road on the left Strada Tegolaro. After 800mt is Podere Borgobello on the right.

- From Perugia city centre: north towards Lago Trasimeno.

Pass the villages of S.Marco, Ceneente and Canneto and go straight towards Capocavallo. After about 500m turn right to Strada Case Nuove. Straight for another 600m. Podere Borgobello is directly on the left of the road near a smaller road at 80mt.
