The estate grows cereals, sunflowers, walnut groves and coppice woods. In a secluded location among fields, meadows and woods the agriturismo is set in an ancient Umbrian farmhouse and annexe sensitively restored and divided in seven comfortable and independent self-catering apartments, maintaining the old rural traditional heritage.The apartments are for 2/4/6/8 persons.

The comfortable and well-furnished apartments which are decorated in authentic Umbrian style have tiled floors (handmade cotto), superb beamed ceilings and a collection of old rural tools and equipments that evokes the magical atmosphere of rustic life.


“Il Corniolo” thanks to its gorgeous location makes an ideal base for exploring Perugia, only 15 minutes by public buses, or any other of the fascinating art and historic towns in Umbria and in the nearby Tuscany, Rome and the charming Trasimeno Lake.
The charming and cosy apartments which range from 45 to 70 square metres are carefully and finely furnished. All the units are equipped with independent heating, telephone, satellite TV barbecue; some of them have a private patio, dishwasher and some are specially adapted and equipped for the disabled.

Hikers can enjoy a natural trail which starts from the property woods and arrives to Monte Malbe, where more well-marked and easy walking trails, cross the mountain. Walking in this pristine natural setting will also be an educational moment since through signals and labels, endemic trees and groves included the Corniolo, the cornel that gives the name to the estate, are described.

Anglers will be charmed by the delightful hilltop lake, once used for watering purposes and today dedicated to sport fishing. (Special fee for our guests).
Coming back from their trips, guests can relax and rest by the beautiful swimming pool (7x15) which is nestled in the green, while children can enjoy themselves in the playground.
Bikers can hire city bikes, or mountain bikes, asking for them at the moment of the booking or booking them on the arrival.
Laundry facilities are at guest’s disposal: washing machine and dryer (working by tokens), iron and ironing boards are available in the dedicated room.
At only 4 km., in the nearest urbanized area, it is possible to find a public medical service, a chemist’s and a large supermarket.

Directions

By car:
Motorway A1 'Autostrada del Sole' Florence-Rome.
Arriving from the North: exit at Valdichiana-Bettolle, take the connecting road Bettolle-Perugia exit at Mantignana; at the beginning, follow the directions Mantignana and as soon as possible the direction Capocavallo. Pass the village Capocavallo and follow the directions for Perugia till Frazione Canneto, we are on the right.
Arriving from the South: exit at Orte take the dual carriage-way E45 to Perugia leave behind the exit Balanzano and take the connecting road Perugia-Firenze. Exit at Madonna Alta, turn on the right, direction stadio; pass the stadio and turn on your right following the sign Cenerente. Passed Cenerente you will find Canneto, we are on the left.

Arriving from Bologna: take the Bologna-Cesena, exit at Cesena Nord, and take the dual carriageway E45 to Perugia exit at Pierantonio follow directions for Pantano and then the directions for Perugia till Frazione Canneto.

From Perugia pass Frazione San Marco-Cenerente and we are in Canneto.
