Podere Caldaruccio

All of the proposed solutions are part of an extensive property of about 15 acres of land, all with fence and automatic gates (you will receive a remote control), plenty of possibilities of relaxing walking all around or sunbathing in one of a lot of places with green grass.

The old farmhouse is situated in Ramazzano (8 km from Perugia) on a hilltop site with a wonderful view over a great meadow, the old pines trees, (the landmark of the village of Ramazzano) and a little wood where you’ll find tables, chairs and hammocks and a barbecue).

The property is surrounded by woodland, where you can also watch “wild animals” like deer, foxes, wild boars etc.

There are a lot of trekking trips leading to very beautiful spots in the countryside over the hills (and not always far away). From 20 minutes up to several hours.


Podere Caldaruccio certainly offers an ideal place because of its favourable geographic position located in the centre of a number of towns of touristy and artistic interests of Umbria as: Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Lake Trasimeno, and the very close Tuscany with Cortona, Montepulciano, the Chianti area, Siena and Florence.

Available for the guests: A spacious pool, private green spaces supplied with wooden tables and chairs, a playground for children, mountain bikes; while in the forests of the property, it is possible to have relaxing walks and trekking, for the sportive and more expert people it is possible to ride a horse.

Directions

From the south:
Take the direction Florence and exit Orte and then direction Cesena

Either from north or south: Take the E-45 highway direction Perugia exit at Resina (20 km north of Perugia) or Bosco coming from the south.

Follow the direction of Ramazzano (about 4-5 kms from the exit)

In the centre of the little village you will see a big parking area of a Conad supermarket and a bar; here take the Via Pineta up to the hilltop.

Go up for about 800 metres (it will be very steep)

When you are almost on the hilltop you will see a (unique) newly asphalted road (very dark colour) on the left to get on for 200 metres; you will see the signboard indicating the end of Ramazzano, and on its right, you arrive at No. 19 Strada Palazzetta.
