Directions
From the main train station:
Walk along Via Panzani, which becomes Via Cerretani and as you have reached the Cathedral (Duomo) turn right. Now you'll be in Via Calzaiuoli, Florence's 'main drag'. After about three blocks, you'll find Via De' Tavolini on your left. Via de' Tavolini is long one block and becomes Via Dante Alighieri, our street. The American Express agency is on your left, walking just for 10 meters you arrive in Piazza San Martino, we are at number 3.
If you decide to take the Electric Bus 'A' here are the instructions:
when you get off the train, continue walking straight ahead through the ticketing office (Salone Biglietteria), and the bus stop is on the other side of the wall in front of you. Wait at the bus stop for bus 'A'; Dante Alighieri Street is one of the scheduled stops on the route.

The bus 'A' makes a stop right in front of the American Express Office. Remember to buy your ticket before you get on the bus and remember that your luggage has to have a bus ticket as well. Yu can buy it either at the Tourist Information Office or at the Snack shop in the ticketing office.
Florence airport Amerigo Vespucci is on the outskirts of town and can be reached by taxi (10-15 minutes ride) or SITA bus from the railway station.
If you are coming by car we suggest you use the 'Pirelli map' to build your itinerary.
The nearer parking is the 'Garage Bargello' at no. 70 Via Ghibellina, it costs around 25.00 Euro/day and it's marked on our map with the Blue 'P'. There is a city hall owned parking lot in Piazza della Libertà called 'Il Parterre'. This lot costs 15.00 Euro/day but is a taxi ride away from the B&B. To get to Piazza della Libertà, just follow all signs to this square and then follow all of the big blue 'P' signs for the parking.
