Active Adventure

Fish the beautiful Pacific West Coast of Vancouver Island in a fully equipped charter boat. Choose from a 6-hour to full day guided fishing adventure, at rates much less than you will find anywhere else. Charter prices include guide, fuel, all fishing tackle and bait. The Intrepid is equipped with a GPS/chartplotter, electric downriggers and all safety equipment. Seating is comfortable for up to four adult guests. A private head is located on board. No experience necessary, come and enjoy the fantastic scenery and fishing. Our boat has been inspected by Transport Canada (Marine) and meets all safety and construction standards, and her skipper's training exceeds requirements.

Typical Day

A full day fishing adventure starts early! We leave the marina as soon as there is enough light to see and we head up the Alberni Inlet to the fishing grounds. On most trips you will see a variety of wildlife, including black bears, bald eagles, and seals or sea lions. On occasion grey, humpback or kiler whales are spotted. On a full day charter, lunch will be provided on board so you can maximize your time with lines in the water. We plan our return so that we are back in the marina by 6 p.m.

Age range, type of group

There are no age restrictions! Anyone can fish and enjoy the day!

Sleeping and meals

Lunch is provided on full-day charters. Non-alcoholic beverages are provided on all charters.

Restrictions

There are no restrictions. We even have a life jacket for dogs, so bring Fido along with you if you wish.
