Surrounded by pine-clad hills, Marmaris is located on the site of ancient Phykos. There are however numerous examples of Ottoman architecture from the reign of Suleyman the Magnificent since Marmaris was taken by him as part of his campaign against the island of Rhodes nearby. Among the buildings that may be seen are the castle built in 1521;a caravanserai built in 1545 and Tashan, also built in the 16th century.
Marmaris is deservedly better known for its natural beauty: the lace-like coastline is embellished with coves and inlets where one may go swimming, diving or fishing. The sheltered bay is excellent for windsurfing.
Accommodations, restaurants, and cafes are plentiful and tours are available to coves like Icmeler, Kumlubuk, Turunc, and Kadirga. The forests of fragrant pine- trees around Marmaris offer tempting picnic spots. Marmaris is a calling place on the Blue Voyage and boats may be hired here to go to Bodrum and Fethiye.
Boat tours are also available to the nearby ruins of ancient Caunos. Good highway connections make it easy to visit more distant places like Knidos, Pamukkale, Aphrodisias, and even Ephesus. The Marmaris marina is amply provided with everything a yachtsman might need.

Vacation Rental Property

Our holiday apartments facility consists of two residential units, a pool-bar, a pool-side cafeteria & restaurant, reception and shops (hair-dresser, a 2nd restaurant offering Italian, Korean & Indian food, travel agency, grocery and jewellery)
The main building which was built in 1989 is a solid concrete house and encompasses 8 apartments. All of these apartments have 1 bed-room and 1 living-room, except M-8 which has only bedroom. The bedrooms have either French or twin beds. In the living-room there is a convertible sofa which is big enough for 1 adult or 2 children. Some apartments are a bit bigger than others and allow for an extra-bed to be brought in.
The apartments in this building are ideally suited for couples who would like to have ample living space or for families with children. All apartments on the 1st floor have a balcony looking either to the main road or to the garden, except M-3 which has 2 balconies one looking to either side.
The ground-floor apartments M-7 and M-8 are particularly suited for wheelchair.
All apartments in this building have a kitchen. Tableware and cutlery provided is enough for four person. The apartments facing the street offer a birds-view perspective to the Icmeler's vibrant nightlife whereas the apartments at the back of the building look to the pool and have a magnificent mountain panorama.
The villa which is a pre-fabricated house is in service since 2004 and consists of four studios. All studios have a single king-size bed and are therefore ideally suited for singles or couples without children. All studios have a kitchenette with tableware and cutlery enough for two. All studios have both a pool-view and mountain panorama.
All apartments have WC and shower and are equipped with air-conditioning and safety box.

Directions

BY AIR
Besides charter flights of travel companies, there are also regular flights from several European cities to the airports Dalaman (DLM), Bodrum (BXN), Izmir Adnan Menderes (ADB) and Rhodes (RHO). Depending on at which of these airports you arrive, you can then continue from there to Marmaris by means of bus, taxi or catamaran.

BY CAR-FERRY
There are several ferry companies operating between Italy and Turkey.
When travelling to Turkey via car-ferry, you can choose from the following routes:
Ancona - Çeºme - Ancona (April to October)
Brindisi - Çeºme - Brindisi (June to September)

BY CATAMARAN
Often it is easier to find a flight to Rhodes than it is to Marmaris. If you fly to Rhodes, take a taxi for the short drive from the airport to the harbor and then take the catamaran to Marmaris. The boat trip lasts 45 minutes and is IMHO more interesting than the 90 minutes bus trip from Dalaman airport to Marmaris. Don't forget to match the arrival time of your flight on Rhodes with the departure time of the ferry.
Important: The port tax on the voyage between Rhodes and Marmaris is $24!

BY CAR
If you would like to retain your mobility during your holidays without having to rent a car, coming here by car might be an option for you. Before starting your journey don't forget to inform yourself regarding issues like transit visas, max. amount of foreign currencies you are allowed to carry with you etc.

FROM DALAMAN AIRPORT TO HOTEL
The most economical solution to get from Dalaman airport to our hotel is to take the bus. The busses belong to Havas, the national airport ground services provider.They wait in front of the terminal for domestic flights. Their schedule is adapted to the arrival times of domestic flights of the following airline companies:
THY / OHY / FLY AIR / ATLAS JET. They follow the following route: Airport - Dalaman - Ortaca - Köycegiz - Gökova - Marmaris. Their final arrival point is the intercity bus terminal in Marmaris. The trip takes appr. 90 minutes. After arrival to Marmaris you can take orange bus, so called dolmush which runs between Marmaris and Icmeler every 2-3 minutes. You need to tell the driver in the bus the name of your hotel and he will make a stop right in front of it.
OR you can ask us to pick you up or take taxi at the airport or rent car at the airport.

FROM PORT TO HOTEL
There are pink buses which run from port in Marmaris to downtown of Marmaris. When you are in downtown take orange bus running between Marmaris and Icmeler and tell the name of our hotel to the bus driver and he will make a stop just in front of the hotel.
