A 3 block walk brings you to the best snorkeling site on the island, Waiopae Marine Conservation Area. In protected waters, you can swim and snorkel amongst coral and a myriad of colorful ocean creatures. 5 mins down the road is the Ahalanui Warm ponds, 5 more minutes to Po'ohiki and surfing, the black sand beach is 15 more minutes! A 45 min drive takes you to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Pahoa town is 15 mins from the house for quaint shops and delicious dining.

Vacation Rental Property

Sleeps up to 6 people. Two private bedrooms, one located on each of two levels of the house. The rec room has a futon which can sleep two. Lower level is wheel chair friendly with wider doors, a large roll-in shower and grab bars. Three lanais invite you to enhoy the garden surrondings.

From Hilo Airport (ITO) - take Hwy 19 to Keaau Bypass (Hwy 130). Go about 12 miles and take a left at Hwy 132 (Pahoa-Kapoho Road). Stay to the left all the way down the hill - turn right on Hwy 137. Go about 2 miles to Kapoho Kai - make a left. Make another left on Hoolai Rd - house is on the left hand side of the street 14-5034 Hoolai.
