Sep 16, 2008 12:22 am By: Thomas	5	Hideaway and Dream When we arrived we did not hear the creek.We went in and unpacked, had a quick snack then started checking out the cabin. It is when we opend the door to the summer room that it seemed we were engulfed in sound. The creek is amazing. You are put into a trance that you do not want to wake up. Once you hear it and realize your brain has been listiening to road noise and the radio for so long, the creek is all you hear. The Hideaway was awesome, we flipped for who would get to sleep in the summer room 1st. The owners put some thought into how they set this place up. We have stayed in cabins by Tahoe that were twice as expensive, but nothing beats the care and thought they put in here. As Chuck said, "there are no mints on the pillow" but all else was there and more. Thank you, thank you.
Jun 26, 2008 12:30 am By: Regan's	4	The water, the creek!!! We stayed in the Bunkhouse for a romantic get-a-way. The sound of the creek was amazing. The cabin was very cozy/comfortable. We did get a chance to take a tour of the 2 bedroom and it is "better equiped", not to say that the 1 bedroom lacked anything, it just had more... We will be back!

The cabins also sit above year-round Deer Creek.Within walking distance to the Historic California Hot Springs Resort.Gateway to the Sequoia National Forest. A good starting point for hiking, fishing, rock climbing, picnicking, birding, driving tours and camping.The cabins are an hour or less drive to the Trail of a Hundred Giants, Dome Rock, Kern River, Quaking Aspens, Ponderosa and so much more.
