Bogles Round House- Carriacou, Grenada

Surrounding Area

We are situated in the small village of Bogles in Carriacou, Grenada. Bogles is approx. 5 mins away from the capital Hillsborough. Our property is located on the bus route. To the north of us there are two spectacular beaches, "Anse la Roche" and "Petite Carenage". To the south there is the town of Hillsborough which has all the usual ameneties of a small town and from there you can catch a bus or taxi to the Southern end of the Island (about a 30 minute drive) where you will find Paradise Beach (where you can get a water taxi to Sandy Island) and Tyrell Bay.

Accommodations

We have 3 cottages. Mango and Plum cottages are identical and can sleep up to 3. They both have 1 double bed and have the option of an extra single bed as well. Lime cottage has partitions and is divided into 1 double room and 2 single rooms, so is ideal for families.All our cottages have en suite toilet and shower facilites and have a small kitchenette with frindge, 2 ring gas cooker and pots and pans for those who wish to go self catered. All cottages have a sea view and easy access to the beach and restaurant.

Amenities

Our on-site restaurant is fast becoming a favourite in Grenada and even the Grenadines. Chef Roxanne was recently crowned "Grenada Chef of the Year" for a second time and is also Captain fo the Grenadian Culinary Team competing in this years "Taste of the Caribbean" competition in Miami.We have wireless internet access on site and for those who left their lap-tops at home, there is one availble to use during the day, until restaurant service begins.

We offer a laundry service for a nominal fee and rooms are cleaned daily.

Restrictions

We do not have any restriction, but reserve judgement on pets. Generally small dogs are fine.

Directions

Carriacou is situated to the North of Grenada and can be reached either by the Fast Cat service operated by Osprey Lines or by SVG airlines both companies operate out of Grenada.Getting to Grenada is simple as well, with numerous flights weekly from London and the US as well as Canada and Germany. There of course are connecting flights between other Caribbean islands frequently too.

Discounts Offered

We offer discounts to large groups, who take all the cottages and also to guests who stay for more than 4 weeks at a time.As a general rule our rates are, stay 6 nights and get the 7th free.
