This tour is the fusion of Lhasa Tour and Tsetang Tour with the addition of the visits to the popular Gyantse, the old capital of Tibet and the emerging modern town - Shigatse. You have the chances of seeing the Gyantse Kumbum (the highest Chorten in Tibet) & Pelkor Chode Monastery among others. Gyantse, altitude 3,800 m was once Tibet's third most important city. In former times it was a fort, the centre of Tibet's wool trade and a gateway to the outside world. Shigatse - Altitude 3,900 m (12,800 feet), is Tibet's second largest city and the administrative centre of a vast area. Shigatse stands near the confluence of the Yarlong Tsangpo and Nyangchu rivers and is one of Tibet's richest farming areas. Shigatse was previously both a stronghold and a monastery city and forms a horseshoe around a rocky prominence that was formerly topped by an awesome fortress. At the western tip, beneath Mt. Dormari, lies Tashilhunpo monastery, seat of the Panchen Lamas and one of Tibet's greatest monasteries.

Trip Outline
Day 01: Fly Kathmandu – Lhasa. Transfer to Tsetang. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: Morning visit to Yumbulagang, the Yarlung Valley & Tashi Choeden Monastery. Afternoon visit to the Tombs of the Tibetan Kings. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03: Drive Tsetang – Gyantse via Yamdok Tso Lake. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04: Drive Gyantse – Xigatse. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 05: Drive Xigatse – Lhasa. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 06 & 07 : Lhasa sightseeing. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 08: Transfer to airport to fly to Kathmandu.
