Emmetsburg is a beautiful undiscovered gem in Northwest Iowa. The tree-lined streets, Victorian homes and wonderful Five Island Lake add to its charm. Enjoy fishing, boating, water skiing, and swimming in an uncrowded lake. You may want to bring your clubs to golf at the Wild Rose Golf Course, or visit the antique, gift and craft shops in town. Try your luck at the new Wild Rose Casino or visit the famous Grotto of the Redemption in West Bend, Iowa.

The Queen Marie Victorian B&B has 5 beautiful antique furnished guest rooms in the main house and a new Carriage House whirlpool suite next door. All rooms are air conditioned and offer cable TV. Sit on the unique porch swing to enjoy the fine days and play croquet on the front lawn. Walk a few blocks to the lake or downtown or exercise at the Smith Wellness Center nearby.

Description of Rooms/Suites

The Blue, Gold and Pink rooms in the main house are furnished in antiques and have private bathrooms, air conditioning, and cable TV. The Red and Green rooms share a bath, are also furnished in antiques with air conditioning and cable TV. The Carriage House suite has a double whirlpool, shower, fireplace, cable TV, air conditioning, CD player and refrigerator.

Several restaurants nearby - in town and at the Wild Rose Casino. Smith Wellness Center offers indoor pool, sauna, cardiovascular exercise room, weight room, gym, raquetball and ping pong. There is free wireless internet at the B&B.
